The Christian Graduate Society (CGS) aims to grow the Christian graduate community of Cambridge in faith and fellowship, and to reach out to fellow students with the good news about Jesus. We welcome Christian grads of all denominations as well as students looking to find out more about Christianity.

In order to promote community and the Christian faith among Cambridge graduate students, we hold several weekly, fortnightly, and one-off events.
We run three weekly Bible study groups that meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (usually starting at 7.30pm). These are graduate groups intended to be appropriate both for Christians and for those investigating the Christian faith. The Tuesday group meets north of the city centre in the home of one of our members, and the Wednesday and Thursday groups meet in Trinity College. Please do invite your friends! Email soc.cgs[at]gmail.com for more information and to be put in contact with someone from whichever group would suit you best.
CGS also runs events for International Students, including the International Student Welcome at the beginning of the year. This leads onto events like International Food Evenings, Christmas parties, Garden parties and more! This are great things to invite your friends to and offer our community with the hope we have. Please email soc.cgs[at]gmail.com for more details.
Prayer is an awesome privilege we have to draw deeper in our relationship with God, bearing fruit to His glory. On Monday mornings, graduates from across the University gather to pray from 8am-8.45am in N2, Trinity College Great Court. Together we spend time committing our lives, friends, and city to God our Father. Mostly our prayer is focused on the graduate community in Cambridge, as we pray sincerely for a revival of love for Jesus here, and for Christians to live boldly for Christ. You don't have to be a member of the CGS to come, and first timers are always welcome. Email soc.cgs[at]gmail.com for more details.

If you are about to leave Cambridge and the CGS, firstly, we'll miss you! Secondly, this document contains details of some resources that may be helpful, particularly to those who are continuing in an academic environment and looking for scholarly Christian community (in addition to joining a local church). You may also wish to join the CGS alumni Facebook group to keep in touch with us and each other.
